I have yet to read Elantris - I'm going to have to stop procrastinating!

Emo always meant emotional. Any kind of art or music should be emotional. If its not, than it's pretty much just a jingle selling bleach or pizza. - Frank

Are these watercolor? XD Because it's been driving me nuts trying to figure out what you use to color with. Rofl.
But as for the picture itself, I adore how you do expressions and faces and your style itself is awesome!

No, they're not watercolor, (although it's my favorite medium!) I usually sketch things out in pencil first, scan them, and then I use a GIMP coloring program on my computer (kind of like Paintshop), that has different types of "brushes", and transparent paint. (I just color with my mouse.)
My favorite is the watercolor/fuzzy style brush, because it just looks awesome. (And I can be as sloppy as I want when I'm coloring.)
Hmm... I'm thinking about posting a 'Work In Progress' picture one of these days, just to kind of show what I'm working with. Oo, that'll be fun!
Sorry for the ramble!
